Membership 2020
We have been informed by EA that there has been an increase. Therefore membership will be £26.00 for the 2020 year.

HRRL Number Swaps
With races becoming more popular and booked up quickly there is actually a Facebook page where you can request number swaps in the HRRL league.

Striders’ League 2019-20 Season – New Events, New Rules!

Welcome

Denmead is a large village, 8 miles north of Portsmouth. The Denmead Striders Running Club was formed in 1989 and caters for runners of all abilities over the age of 18. We always welcome newcomers to the club, whether experienced runners or those just trying out the wonderful sport of running. Our membership is around 200, which enables everyone to know each other. Membership is just £25 per year. If you are a new member or your details have changed then please fill in the membership application form which can be found under the information section of our website Membership

We meet 4 times a week:

Official club sessions

Mondays Summer – 6:30pm at Kidmore Lane Car Park, Denmead
Winter – 6:30pm at Waterlooville Leisure Centre/Swimming Pool

Wednesdays Summer – 7pm at Kidmore Lane Car Park, Denmead
Winter – 7pm at Waterlooville Leisure Centre/Swimming Pool

Social sessions

Fridays Summer – 5.30pm at Kidmore Lane Car Park, Denmead for enjoyable Summer runs in the countryside
Winter – 5:30pm at Waterlooville Leisure Centre/Swimming Pool

Saturdays 7:30am at Lidl supermarket, Cowplain 6-10 miles, or longer when marathons planned – ideal for early birds

Prospective members are welcome to attend a training session – we recommend you come along on a Wednesday evening if it is your first session, or contact our Membership Secretary, Julia Revill.
